Courses should reflect and respect learner diversity, enabling learners to request, apply for, or put in place appropriate adjustments to support their participation.
Partners are expected to work with InatUni Ltd to promote good practice and foster an inclusive learning culture, with a shared commitment to continuous improvement of the learner experience.
Partners must cooperate with InatUni Ltd in working towards compliance with WCAG 2.1 standards for digital accessibility.

5. Technical information – compliance status
InatUni Ltd is committed to making its websites accessible in accordance with the Public sector bodies (websites and mobile applications) (no. 2) accessibility regulations 2018.
InatUni’s websites are Partially compliant with the Web content accessibility guidelines (wcag) version 2.1, level aa, due to the accessibility issues and limitations outlined in Section 6 below.
6. Non-accessible content
The following sections describe areas where InatUni’s websites do not fully meet Wcag 2.1 requirements, along with the reasons for these limitations.
Technology-related limitations:
Some specialised content such as mathematical equations, scientific notation, musical notation, phonetics, or similar subject-specific formats cannot yet be fully supported by current web accessibility technologies. We actively monitor technological developments in this area and will improve accessibility as solutions become available.
Accessibility during Live or interactive events may also be limited. We are working with third-party providers and improving our internal systems to enhance accessibility for live learning experiences.
From time to time, InatUni may link to external websites or platforms that are not operated by us. These third-party sites may not meet accessibility standards, and we do not have control over their compliance.
Pdf and word documents:
Some older PDF and Word documents may not be fully accessible to assistive technologies such as screen readers. We are working to remediate legacy documents where feasible and ensure that all new documents published by InatUni are created in line with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
Documents provided by third-party partners may not always meet accessibility requirements. We continue to engage with partners and suppliers to encourage the provision of accessible documents wherever possible.
Images:
Some decorative or illustrative images may not yet be correctly marked as decorative in the website code. This can result in screen readers unnecessarily announcing these images, which does not meet Wcag 2.1 success criterion 1.1.1 (non-text content).
Keyboard navigation:
Certain interactive elements, such as links or buttons, may not always display a clear visual focus indicator when navigated using a keyboard. This can make it difficult for keyboard-only users to determine which element is currently selected. This issue relates to Wcag 2.1 success criterion 2.4.7 (focus visible).
Forms:
Some online forms may lack properly associated labels for input fields, which can make them difficult to use with screen reader software. This issue affects Wcag 2.1 success criterion 1.3.1 (info and relationships).
